Crock Pot French Dip Sliders

Total Time: 8 hours 10 minutes

Serves: 12 slider sandwiches

Ingredients: 

  • 5lb boneless chuck roast

  • 2 packages McCormick Au Jus Mix

  • 32 ounces beef broth

  • 1 onion sliced

  • 1 package Hawaiian rolls

  • 8 slices Provolone cheese

You will also need:

  • Crock Pot

  • 9x13” Baking Sheet

Instructions:

  1. Place the roast, sliced onion, Au Jus mix and beef broth into the crock pot. 

  2. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.  

  3. After beef is fork tender, remove beef and onions from the crock pot and strain broth into a bowl. Set broth aside.

  4. Slice Hawaiian rolls open to create a sandwich. (Some Hawaiian rolls come pre-sliced.)

  5. Spray a 9x13” baking sheet and place the bottom half of the Hawaiian rolls onto the baking sheet.

  6. Using a large fork, place beef and onions into an equal layer covering entire bottom half of the Hawaiian Rolls. 

  7. Cover the beef with provolone slices and place top half of Hawaiian rolls on top of beef & cheese.  

  8. Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 350 degrees F for 15 minutes.

  9. Serve warm with small bowls of au jus for dipping.
