Aunt Judy’s Buttermilk Biscuits

My Great Aunt Judy is famous for her biscuits. I’m not exaggerating. You can ask anyone within a 20 mile radius of Dixiana, South Carolina who makes the best biscuits and they will say, without doubt, Aunt Judy.

While the biscuits are mouthwatering and out of this world delicious, the service behind the biscuits makes them even better.

My Aunt Judy is a doer. She has the heart of a true servant. When someone is in need, when someone has a baby, when someone is sick, or when someone passes away, my Aunt Judy always shows up and she shows up with biscuits.

When we had our last baby, Cameron Caroline, Aunt Judy sent us a full supper in brand new Pyrex dishes along with a pan of hot biscuits. It made our day.

I hope you use this recipe to brighten the day of a friend or neighbor just like Aunt Judy.
