Easy Peach Cobbler

South Carolina Peaches on Tree

Our fine neighbors to the west are known for being the Peach State. But, I have a secret to let out: South Carolina produces more peaches in three counties alone than the entire state of Georgia!

Uncle Bunny’s neighbor (Uncle Bunny is my brother), Mrs. Amanda McNulty is the long-time host of “Making it Grow”, a gardening show on SCETV (South Carolina’s PBS network).

From time to time she brings over fresh loaves of bread and treats to share with the family. This summer, she brought over a large bundle of delicious local peaches.

At the time it seemed like too many. But now that peach season is over, we are happily pulling out frozen and canned peaches for delicious recipes like this one!
